Role Overview
The Software Development Engineer (SDE) role is situated in the Engineering department and focuses on delivering full stack solutions for the organization. The position is remote, allowing the engineer to work from Pune while collaborating with team members through digital channels. The SDE will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications that span both front‑end and back‑end layers. Core development will be performed using Node.js for server‑side logic, Express.js for building APIs, and Next.js for creating responsive user interfaces. The engineer will leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host, scale, and secure the applications, ensuring that cloud resources are used efficiently. System design activities will involve creating architectural diagrams, defining data flow, and establishing modular components that can be extended over time. The role requires translating business requirements into technical specifications, writing clean and reusable code, and adhering to coding standards. Continuous integration and deployment practices will be applied to streamline the release process, while monitoring tools on AWS will be used to track performance and availability. The SDE will work closely with product owners and other engineers to prioritize tasks, estimate effort, and deliver features within the defined timeline. Communication will be essential for clarifying requirements, reporting progress, and addressing any technical challenges that arise. The position demands a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack. Candidates must demonstrate a solid foundation in full stack development, backend development, and system design, as well as practical experience with the listed technologies. The role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in cloud‑based application development while contributing to the organization’s engineering objectives. A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience is required, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree is the educational prerequisite. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in a remote work environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and are committed to delivering high‑quality software solutions.
